So I purchased, yesterday, a 56″ TV. It’s a rear-projection type, using Samsung’s DLP technologyk with a 1080P resolution and the ability to display 3D if you’ve got 3D compatable movies or games, and the polarized glasses.
It’s supposed to be delivered Sunday morning. My cable is supposed to be upgraded on Thursday. Shiny idiotboxery and nonthinkery will likely ensue. Plus I’ll finally be able to read the text on all these newfangled games.

Holy crap, man. That sounds like a hell of a TV. Maybe in a couple years, we’ll end up getting a nice one like that.
