So I purchased, yesterday, a 56″ TV.  It’s a rear-projection type, using Samsung’s DLP technologyk with a 1080P resolution and the ability to display 3D if you’ve got 3D compatable movies or games, and the polarized glasses.

It’s supposed to be delivered Sunday morning.  My cable is supposed to be upgraded on Thursday.  Shiny idiotboxery and nonthinkery will likely ensue.  Plus I’ll finally be able to read the text on all these newfangled games.

JR’s Family BBQ was delicious, and not expensive like I expected.  I’m quite pleased, and quite full.

I slept poorly.  I have a toenail that aches, which I suspect is responsible.  Despite the best efforts of the person I pay to take care of my nails, it seems insistant on being troublesome.

Onemanga isn’t loading the page properly.  At this rate I’ll never catch up on One Piece. >_<

At least I got current on Soul Eater and Naruto.

Lean Pockets for breakfast.  These I find tasty.  I should get a ricecooker, though, because rice is cheap and delicious.

Am I living in a box?  Am I living in a cardboard box?

No, although with that hole in the roof, I sometimes wonder.

Maybe we can use that as an excuse to get out of our lease early.

I bet I didn’t stir it enough when I made it, because it seems sweeter at the bottom than it had been before.

Why doesn’t Okra taste good on its own?  I think it’s probably the hairs.  Fried Okra is so bad for you, but so tasty, and Okra in Gumbo and similar dishes is fantastic.  Maybe if I lightly burned all the hairs off I could find a way to cook it without taking away from it (Isn’t it a fruit?).  Like some sort of incredibly light flambe followed by a baking or a steaming.  I bet steaming would make it even slimier, though. >.>

In keeping with the discussion topic that inspired me to create this account.  Let’s look at the subject of Hell.

The word Hell doesn’t appear in the bible as it was written by the men who did the writing in the first place.  Not at all.

Two words have been translated into hell from the original text, neither of which should have been.

The first, is Sheoul.  For reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheol

The second, Hades.  For reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hades

Notice that the original idea of Hades the location is simply a misty underworld where the dead dwell.  The idea of judgement and reward or punnishement came later, whether from cultural cross-polution or just because the old stories about it got boring I couldn’t say.

The point here is that every single reference in the bible that was translated into “Hell” in english was, in fact, not a reference to that flaming Proper Noun invented by Dante to entertain.  Nowhere in the bible is it stated that anyone ever goes to a hell.  Not once.  I challenge anyone to show me otherwise.
